About Dr. Prasad J Kasliwal
Dr Prasad is an Interventional Pain Physician who is dealing with chronic intractable pain management.
He did his DA from University of Mumbai. He has completed his DNB (Anesthesia) from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. He is fellow of Indian Academy of Pain Medicine, an initiative by Indian Society for the Study of Pain. He did hisfellowship in chronic pain management at Pain Clinic of India, Mumbai. He is also fellow in Interventional Pain Management from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. This fellowship was awarded to him by International Society for the Study of Pain(IASP) through Indian Chapter.He is also having three publications at his belt.
He is a lifetime & an active member of ISSP, an Indian Chapter of International Association for Study of Pain. He is also involved in teaching interventional pain techniques to doctors interested in pain at conferences & cadaveric workshops.
He is currently running Pushp Hospital’s “Pushp Spine & Pain Clinic” at Nashik which is the first Interventional Pain Management Centre in North Maharashtra. It is well equipped with various gadgets like 9’ HF C-arm, Ozone generator,Radiofrequency machine, disc fx etc. He is also working as a visiting consultant at various reputed multispeciality Hospitals in Nashiklike Apollo Hospital, HCG Manvata Cancer Hospital, Six Sigma hospital, etc.
Dr. Prasad is pioneer of many interventional pain management techniques in North Maharashtra like pulsed radiofrequency, intra-discal low voltage high duration pulsed radio frequency for discogenic pain, ozone discectomy, Automated percutaneous lumbar discectomy, etc.
